Buffalo applicant Jan 2009 - status changed to "In Process"

Hello friends,
My status has changed to "In Process" today (Yeah!!!!!!!! ).
I have applied directly to Buffalo (Cat 3) at the end of Jan 2009.
I am wondering, does it mean that my case is processed in Buffalo, or it could mean that the case is transferred to another office (like few other Jan 2009 Buffalo applicants from the forum).

Question to all of you whoes cases have been transferred - has your status changed to "In Process" at the time of transfer, or later on, just before you got medicals?

Congratulations.
The option for applying directly to Buffalo - for Federal Skilled Worker category - was available in January 2009 also?

Yes, the option to apply directly to Buffalo for Cat 3 and 2 was open until April 1st, if I remember correctly.
