Background verification Status Changed to in progress

My Background was completed on SEP2023 as per the status, and in JUN2025 the status changed to in progress. Why did it do that? Why did it go reverse?

The criminality expires after a year, and seems like they just realized it and asked RCMP for a new criminality check.
