Has any body noticed a forum member getting medical instructions from Buffalo since 01 January 2011, irrespetive of the fact whether they got their 2nd AOR in April/May or Aug-Sep-Oct 2010? All visa offices get their yearly quotas in Jan.

Hi Vermas:
I have not noticed any in my limited search- may be other people in the forum can update.
As you can see in the link in my post above- you can very rarely find people processed in buffalo that have completed the process within a resonable time. We all are going to need a very very good luck !

the average is 17 month since they receved your full docs
some take more time some less every one is diferent

let see ..if 17 months ...then we should wait another one year for whole process

The only movement at Buffalo VO in the last three months, I have noticed is that status of few applicants has changed from RBVO to In Process. Buffalo is dead slow. My 17 months from the date they recd complete application will be up in Aug 2011, but I have no hope of completing the process by that time. CIC always has new surprises in store to slowdown the process, such as announcing new fast track system with 39 occupation is 2008, changing it to 29 occupation in 2010, replacing CAIPS with GCMS, staggering issuance of visas to limit the entry of new immigrants into Canada, new list/regulations to be announced in 2011 and now some "Canada Based Immigration Officers" at Visa Offices worldwide will change during summer relocation time (approx 1/3 of the total strength during May-Aug). Some unlucky applicants will suffer because of change in VO handling their files and our miseries will continue....Despite all this, we will continue with our hope to realize our Canadian dreams.

.. And to add uncertainty to the situation, we have discussed earlier and most of us probably have agreed on the fact that update to a 'in process' status does not appear to be predictive of application progress and does NOT have a consistent relation to the timings of more important events in PR application process such as date of file transfer from CIO to Buffalo or date of medical request. Therefore to conclude, only change from RBVO to IN PROCESS since jan 2011 in other words mean 'No moment at all' in 2011 as yet.
@anuM- not to be pessimistic but this is just the matter of fact and I think we have to accept it- there really have been no or insignificant movements at buffalo these days. But if you like (I do) we can just continue living in possibly a false hope that things will speed-up in days to come, although the opposite may happen because of the reasons mentioned by Vermas above.
One positive way of looking at it that comes to my mind and want to share with you guys is that, not everyone comes to these forums like we do and all these online forums do not represent the whole population of people what have applied in Buffalo. In fact, those who do not contribute to these forums may also be the people whose files have been moving fast and they feel no need of being on these forums. So, we may also chose to ignore the timeline of people in these forums and hope that the processing time we see in these forums are below average of what actual processing time is at buffalo if taken on the whole-Although this may just be a way to calm ourselves ! Thoughts guys ??

VERY NICE COMMENTS GUYS
THANKS

Guys,

Wana share my experience - I had been to Buffalo VO in Dec 2010 (to get my TRV stamping), I had received my 2nd AOR from Buffalo on 17 Sep 2010.
I did enquire the officer who was processing my TRV on the status of my PR appln, she looked up in the system and mentioned "your security checks is thru, you will receive medicals soon". On 22 Feb 2011 my status changed to "In Process" on e-CAS, also consulted a lawyer who used to work at Canada Consulate. With all relevant data I think medical request will come soon (sometime in March 2011)
