Our timelines were pretty close...I completed my medicals on Oct 4th, but the ECAS status still shows up as "In Process." I am hoping to receive my PPR by January. Good Luck to you if you are still waiting for your PPR like me. THANKS!!!

No change buddy,.,even after 3 months from completing medicals,no change at all..i really don't know when's it gonna come out.,now that christmas season in gearing up,,i really don't think it's gonna be comepleted this year..now have to wait for january season...

as we are the same FSW2, would you tell me, after almost a year from CIC received your application since OCT09, did CIC request your employer confirm again they still willing to employ you? Because my Consultant agent told me CIC might request my employer again due to one year passed.

Now my status in E-cas is till received by visa office, by i sent a mail to buffalo last month and they reply in in 2 days told me my application is In Process.

I don't think so that would really call my employer here again for a check..i filed with approved arrange employment which is valid for i guess one year ,& after the lock in period they shuldn't be really concerned with that,infact last with medicals they asked me for papers from the previous employer from my home country,so i guess they would be double checking on that more on,i really feel lately all the movement has stopped at most of the visa offices because of the closure of all the categories and noc's , and soon after holiday season they would start taking all the cases from previous year on priorty,i rember i had a same situation like you in september and next thing i know i got my medicals,but after that it has been ever so slow with not a slightest of a change,
but lets just hope for better january and happy 2011,and wait..

I thought that you contact the office, you have the right to know your application status, they can't just say that "no change since last time" forever... At least you should know what to do other than waiting.

I agree with that too,, i tried every possible way,i contacted buffalo through case specific enquiry,,this was their reply

"Your file was transferred to Detroit on August 3, 2010. Buffalo has no information regarding your file. You must contact Detroit."

then i contacted detroit,this was their reply

"We do not respond to enquiries regarding an application in process in our office while it is within the Normal Processing Time for that type of application.
To learn about what the Normal Processing Times for all types of applications, please visit: "


i even tried calling detroit,,they just have a automated speech service but no personal information help....

now after every thing i really don't know who to contact because at this step i really don't see any transperency ,that i could atleast know the
status...
anybody having any suggestions about it that what can i do more...really would appreciate...

I can see the panic on thread, don't worry guys its only the year end season. Holidays, VO quotas reached otherwise normally they don't take 3 months after the Medicals. Hope, we will see some movement end of Jan or Feb. Good luck

I saw your frustration . That's nothing we can do . It's better not to talk or even think about it for 1-2 months

I sent an email to ask abt the Status of my application.

I got a one line answer saying my application is in process but the status online still shows as 'Received by VO". Did you guys also received the same sort of response or have received a Medical Request from the VO. Any thoughts?
