Hey am fulling up my application for bridging work permit and i have two questions; on the document check list do i need to supply documents for new work permit or extension ? and what is the fee amount ? thanks !

Yes. Recently they introduced an $100 fee for an "Open" work permit. So it is $255.

how do i pay for the extra $100 ? Dont know which option to choose on the online payment list ??? and when my permit expires does it mean i am illegal or do i have implied status since my PR is in process ?

Once your work permit expires - you are out of status (unless you have filed your BOWP before your work permit expires). Applying for PR does not give you implied status.
