Bridging Open Work Permits for Certain Federal Economic Class Applicants

I just want to know one information regarding open work permit (PNP candidates).

Right now I have closed work permit (upto 2014 end) and my PR application in the process (through PNP-Ontario).

Am I eligible to apply for open work permit based on the "Briding open work permit policy" which is in the 2012 Dec bulletins?
Have you ever heard of this option?
Has anybody got open work permit based on this category?

fyi, I am nominated by PNP-Ontario (International Student with Permanent Job offer).

Please advise, discuss.. It will help other applicants too..

Hi!Do you have a closae work permit expiring at the end of 2014?
If that is the case, you cannot apply right now for the open work permit,because one of the requirements is that your WP is due to expire within 4 months...You will have to wait until 2014 to apply.

do you know how long it takes to get this open work permit?
