Bridging Open Work Permit

Hello,

I have a PR application which is in process. I am currently holding an open work permit valid for around 3 more months.

Situation is that, i am currently stuck in India due to the flight ban.

One of the eligibility requirements for a Bridging work permit is that the applicant must be living in Canada.

My question is can I keep working while I have applied for the bridging open work permit or do I need to have it processed and granted in order to keep working while PR is in process ?

You can keep working as long as IRCC receives the BOWP application before your current work permit expires.
