No change yet.
Have a look to last paragraph in this link:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2011/2011-06-24a.asp
They mentioned that :
"The CIC website will be updated on July 1, 2011, with details on application requirements and procedures for affected programs."

So, there is no change till now and have to patient until tomorrow.

Good luck

Well I think its already been done....They said so that some programmes may be affected but they have chosen not to do it....So everything same as before except 500 cap and 10,000 overall.......Thats what I think.....

Thanks

In many places on the CIC website it still shows 20,000 with 1000 per NOC.. on the page called "Federal Skilled Worker" and "How to apply" ...

Maybe its still being updated... the selection factors and forms.. ? should we wait it out for some more time..

CIC Twitter account posted an update an hour back saying " Changes to further reduce immigration backlogs and improve wait times, effective today."

op6 has not been update till 1 july 2011 so plz wait for 1st july 2011 updates thanks. minister said websits will be updated on 1st july then july not 29 june.

Dear All,

I hope this finds you well.

I am also interested for Canadian Immigration. Kindly help me regarding the following:

1. I am Pakistani and currently doing job in Saudi Arabia, so from where I need to submit my application?

2. Do i need to submit IELTS result with application or later on as IELTS testing date is available in August.

3. Would I be able to apply under NOC 1122 as i am Financial auditor with more than 7 years experience.

Shall be thankful for your advice

I checked with couple of consultants.. All said that we need to wait for the instructions to come. It is not mentioned on the website clearly that there is no change in the points. To be on safer side, we should wait till tonight to see the changes. If some new requirnment comes then it will be a waste to send the application. 1-2 days should not make much difference. Thats my thought.

CIC always say they assess your application as per the rules at the time they received the application. If they haven't updated their rules by today, and they are receiving applications today - then even if they do change the rules regarding points surely they must honour applications received prior to that change?

For that reason I believe they would have already changed the rules today if they were going to.

Wayne.

i dont think there is any rule change happening..they have refreshed the NOC CAP counter on cic.gc.ca

hi

those new point allocation will be implemented in july 2012 and not this year. check

http://www.gatewaytocanada.com/2011/06/mi-3-possible-changes-2011-fsw-new.html

Quite possibly, the proposed changes to FSW points system would be implemented starting July 1, 2012. The proposed changes are meant to make it easier for skilled tradespeople, technicians and apprentices to meet the passmark and to attract immigrants who will adapt more easily and be active members of the work force for a longer time frame.

If implemented, the ideal age would be 21-35 years old and that there would be a minimum level of language proficiency depending on the applicant's occupational skill level (i.e. a nurse would have a different requirement from a welder).

Some news??? the website still the same!!!

this is a private website and he is talking about his thinking not, lets wait till tomorrow good luck

CIC have said that today new instructions are announced so everything on the website regarding points allocation is valid for today (even if it is same as before) so those who are planning to send application today, forms and instructions that are on website are correct.
