thank God there is no changes because I sent my application last jun28 and it didnt reach CIC yet as per tracking's update...maybe it will today or tomorrow....I hope it will be process and complete...

New forms and an updated Instruction Guide and Document Checklist (IMM 5612) are now available. Applicants should follow the new Instruction Guide when preparing to submit an application

Applications that are received by the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) on or after November 14, 2011 that have not been prepared using the updated Instruction Guide and the Document Checklist (IMM 5612), will be returned as incomplete.

Note: As of July 18, 2011, applicants for Permanent Residence are asked to complete the new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008). Applicants are encouraged to complete the form electronically and validate the information to generate 2D barcodes before printing. To ensure you have the most recent application form, please use the link to the application form below.

please dr hasib now my visa office ask me to fill the second page of the generic application imm 0008 and additional family application so as to add my newborn to the file the question now what application should i fill the old form or the new updated one please answer me

Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! There has been no announcement yet regarding the points system. Don't get your hopes up! It specifically says: "A summary of the results of this process will be published on our website in summer 2011." (Source: cic.gc.ca/english/department/consultations/index.asp) Keep in mind the new consultation for immigration levels and mix started on July 12. They didn't have this text up before then. Why would they have it displayed if it already happened? Because it didn't happen. And it will only happen some time between now and the end of the business day on September 22nd.

you are the one who is wrong my friend...point system will not be changed for this financial year(2011). it is expected that new point system will be in force from july 2012.

thank u for ur answer dr hasib but i saved all applications that i send before in my laptop so i can use it now . now my question is if i use the old as they asked me to fill the second page of generic application to add my baby this means the old one still work as this will send to visa office not cio as they asked for the new application form

There is also no issue for pipol submitting today til nov 13 if they still use the old forms.
BUT ENCOURAGED TO USE NEW FORMS THEY HAVE starting june 18. Only encouraged bec with the new form they have updated it and less chance of blank entry therefore no mistake of not filling out or missing on anything.

ONLY on NOV 14 and onwards no one is allowed to use the old forms anymore
