Is anyone else waiting for bowp?

I checked my BOWP status a few minutes ago, and it seemed that mine got approved today.

I applied BOWP online on March 31, 2015, which took me 97 days to get the permit approved.

Hope everyone will get their BOWP approved soon

I was praying mine would arrive this week and my roommate was gonna send it to me (still in Europe on vacation).
Any idea what happens when I try to re-enter the country without the hard copy?

A work permit is not required to enter Canada, nor it allows you to re-enter.
For entering Canada you would need a TRV (Temporary Resident Visa).
I hope yours is still valid.

Hi AD.. My friend got my BOWP hard copy last night. He sent me a scan today and is going to mail it to me shortly. You should check with your friend, most likely he should get it today, if not already.

As regards re-entry, I will go with rohit's response above. You need a valid temp resident visa to enter Canada. I suppose its good to have your new work permit on you as well.

Hey Zoey,

So this is my timeline.

WP extension applied on March 20th 2015.

My WP was approved and send to my representative situated in Vancouver on June 18th 2015.

Just today I received a soft copy of WP from my employer.

I am not sure what was the delay but my attorney said they did not receive my WP as of Monday. I never bothered to ask them what happened after that.

Meanwhile Last week I did my landing and now I am PR.

Guys, for anyone who applied TRV after BOWP approved, how long does it take? I have a emergency that needed to go home for a week. I applied TRV last weeks, not sure if I can get it in 3 weeks.
