BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

Hello Friends, I am filling IMM5710 and I need to fill the province and city of intended occupation, It seems to be mandatory field. Is it like my open work permit will be valid in just this province? Please help

bouncer, don't worry about that fill in the current address, all BOWPs are open..even if the company applies for the BOWP on behalf of you they give open permit.

Any update for Multiple Entry Visa I applied on Jan 6 still waiting for response ?

7 months left on my Closed WP. I applied for an Open work permit in April and was refused. I applied again at the end of December for an Open work permit and it was approve. However I lost my job (no fault of my own) in April.

Yesterday I received this;

Your application to remain in Canada as a temporary resident has been approved. A secure document has
been mailed to you at the address that you provided when you made your application. If you have not received
your secure document within six weeks, contact CIC.

Type: Permit - WP-EXT / Permis - PT-PROR

Validity: 2016/01/28


How long does it take to receive the official document in the post?

Really sad to hear, I am sure you will find something better soon. What is the expiry date on your previous work permit?

I received my official document in the post today. One Week and one day since it was approved via online

I start my new job Monday!
