BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

If i do medical for PR, can i use that medical receipt for BOWP also ?
Any help will be really appreciated

BOWP don't need MR , Until you mentioned some specific job category for working i.e. health professional etc.

I got approved too, but my question is when i will get hard copy of Bowp. will they send it through mail or by email.

hi everyone,

I was wondering if I could get information from those who applied for the BOWP by paper and recently got their permits approved, especially those who sent their application to the 'new employer' office rather then the 'existing employer' office. If you recently got your BOWP approved, can you tell me when CIC recieved your application and when you received your BOWP? I'm asking because recently the processing times were updated, and the 'new emplyer' office reduced their processing times to 53 days (from 63). I'm still awaiting my aor so the reduction in processing time is actually a little bit worrying in terms of getting my BOWP approved!

I have applied on 30 September and they receive on 1october. I am also surprised when I got BOWP and on website showing current date is 8 September for Paper based application. So, website are not up to date.

Hie Guys,
I would like to inform you all that i applied for a BOWP without AOR as a paper application on 7th of October, and it got approved on 4th of December.
I would like to thank you all for the guidance.
In my case my Open Work permit expired on 8th of October and since then i was on implied status. The new open work permit issued is for One Year.

All you can do is wait. Someone on here that applied on 7 November got theirs approved online last week, that's the latest I have seen.

With Christmas next week I wouldn't expect much to happen until January.

The processing time on the CIC website has gone up to 40 days for online applicants too.

Just checked the cic website.. I got my work permit approved ;D ;D applied on 12th November... All the best guys..

I did not mention my current employer in the application... in the explanation letter I mentioned that I dont have employer details since I am applying for BOWP...

I have all the letter. So please advice should i mention or not
