Hi Guys,

Last year I have already applied for BOWP and received it. But later on my cec application got rejected. I submitted a new cec application and received AOR this March. But my BOWP is set to expire this June and no chance that my application will be completed till then. So i'm going to apply for second BOWP. Do you have any suggestion for me? Should I include cover letter? Should I apply online or offline? Should I mention my current employer?

I finally received y OWP. Thank God. It took 12 days to be approved and got it 10 days letter ! I'd like to thank everyone who answered my questions ( even the silly ones) especially Toby who was really helpful

I applied online for TRV on 24th March. The processing timeline on CIC website is 11 days. It is already 12th day and no status update till now. Still waiting. Anyone faced this situation?

Did you attach employment letter for TRV based on BOWP? Thanks!

No employment letter is not required. You need to attach the BOWP copy.

I spoke to CIC today and the agent scared me with this number. Please let me know if there is any truth to this.

According to Operational Bulletin 485-A, The WP is to be valid for the duration of one year from the date of issuance.

My BOWP was issued for 9 months only but this was my mistake because I forgot to renew my passport and WP is always issued to the date of passport expiration.

applied bowp yesterday, without an explanation letter, submitted, AOR, passports, Imm5710 and also sheet of paper with 10 yrs work history and picture ..

It took 5 days (including weekend) for the hardcopy to arrive at my mailing address in Toronto.
