BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

Applied for BOWP on July 29th and I had some difficulties to upload my explenation letter - so I just sent my application without it.
And just got the confirmation e-mail from CIC that for both - me and my husband they have issued BOWP until 08/27/2014 :)

I am in the midst of filing for my BOWP online, but I don't seem to find the photo specifications anywhere (the one that needs to be sent to them electronically along with the online application)

Can anyone send me the specifications or the link to the specifications please.

I would go for

since BOWP is a work permit and should therefore have the same specifications.

Applied on july 25th
 
Guys Is there anybody who have applied in july for BOWP and still waiting. I submitted my application on July 20th and still no response. I called up CIC Call center but they also have no updates and said that the application is in process.
 
Guys I called the call center again and they said my application has gone for a 2nd level review as I didn't attach the AOR with my application but by the time my application was in process , I had received my AOR. Did anybody go through the same process and if yes how much time it takes to get a result. Thanks for your help

I submitted our online application today..now countdown of ~30 days begins..Hoping for smooth processing..! :)
 
Hello folks,

I am running into a difficult situation, I have my current closed wp valid till 31st Oct and my employer is no more extending it as the work with client will not be extended beyond 31st Oct. I applied for CEC PR and it reached Sydney on August 23, I have to apply for BOWP as soon as I receive AOR, but by the time I receive AOR in October(based on the current timelines) I will not be left with much time to apply BOWP. I can apply BOWP but I will not receive it before 31st Oct. If that is the case, can I still continue to stay in Canada without any immigration issues. I do not really want to run into any such issues and jeopardize my CEC application. Is there any way to ask CIO Sydney to expedite the application verification and AOR. Please advise.

Folks,

My BOWP has been approved. I am relieved now. Hopefully, I will receive the physical copy of WP next week.

Applied on 04-Aug; got approved on 30-Aug and received notification on 31-Aug.

Good Luck to others who have applied and waiting for.

Congratualtions JKSNK,

Could you please let us know if you attached AOR along with the application when you applied for BOWP ?
 
For anyone who has applied for BOWP have they completed medicals for CEC? If so, attached that form to the work permit application?

There is a question in the online questionnaire which says have you completed medicals in the last 12 months?

Yes I did attach AOR along with BOWP Application.
