Hi,

I am applying for my BOWP and had a few questions regarding documents:
1) I just recently got my new passport, and my previous passport has my recent entry stamps, visa document and other stamped pages. So should I scan front and marked pages of both passports?
2) Can I scan the same photo I sent for my PR application? The problem I see is that for PR pic from chin to crown measurement had to be between 25-30mm while for BOWP its written between 31 and 36mm.
3) Should I include Current work permit in passport pdf file and AOR in explanation letter pdf file?
4) In employment section, should I include coops I did in university?
5) What is schedule 1? When is it required to send it?

Will appreciate the help..

1- Yes, to avoid getting asked for it later. It's such an easy thing to scan a few more pages.

2- Different photo specs. Take new ones. You can do it yourself too.

3- Neither "explanation letter" nor AOR are required to be attached.

4- Employment history? Yes, they are part of your background.

5- TRV? Do you want to apply for a TRV at the same time?

3- Neither "explanation letter" nor AOR are required to be attached. I Will strongly suggest to write cover/explanation letter and AOR scan along with cover letter . My SOWP got rejected , because VO ignore that principle applicant is already CEC applicant so my wife should get SOWP. my 155 4 wastage , I called CIC . and agent agreed yes it is VO mistake he may ignored few facts . so I reapplied mentioned the Manual reference where it is all mentioned

Thanks thisisauser for the help. I was hesitant about two passport scans as two front pages would confuse them but will do anyway. For employment history, I meant should I include internships I did in university? Also i though one could only apply for new TRV after getting new work permit so is this confirmed that I can apply at same for TRV with schedule 1?

Thanks again!

Yes, if you have a "special" case do it. Otherwise not needed.

mine was not special case, but because of some fool (VO) why to take risk , so i will suggest include cover letter

Also read that someone had just used their PR application picture and scanned it, and their BOWP got approved.

Hello guys,

I applied for BOWP with my family. ( wife- SOWP and son- visitor visa)
I was just wondering because I just received my son's visitor visa record today and he's been approved for extension but I did not receive our BOWP with my wife. Is this just normal?
Or does somebody here with the same situation as mine?

Hi
I am planning to apply for Bowp for me and Sowp for my wife together
When i fill questionare.
When uploading it asks me optional documents
IMM5257B--Schedule 1
Expalnation Letter.

These documnets are not listed when i filled questionare.Do you think these documents should be uploaded or not.

Moreover for form
IMM5713E-Use of Family Representative Form---This should be filled by me and signed by me right..
Please correct me if i am wrong

Are there any members on this forum who have applied for a BOWP after receiving AOR through CEC and have obtained it successfully since it was launched? Can you folks please enlighten us as some members recently shared their stories of rejection going with the assumption that the AOR qualifies as pass for BOWP.

Hi everyone.. Question, my current work permit expires on January 17th , 2015.. I have already received AOR for my CEC application.. Can I already apply for BOWP?

Thank you:)

You can apply not earlier than 4 months before your current WP expires which means you're eligible to apply from today (but rather wait and apply tomorrow).

A question on the form IMM5710.
What do I put as document number on question 4?
On my work permit there is one in red on the top right hand corner, Is that the one?
Right underneath the red writing there is a office file number printed as well. I'm confused.
I'm sorry if this question has been asked before.

Thanks!
