BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

applied for BOWP on June 14th, current WP expires July 16th- looked on processing times and could be another month yet, anyone have idea why its taking longer?

Similar situation myself. I applied for BOWP online June 14th and my current permit expires July 12. Getting really nervous now.

Same with me. I applied for BOWP May 22, & havent heard anything. My WP will expire on June 29, 2014.
My TRV already expired. 2 weeks ago.

I think it's faster online. For us our HR applied our BOWP, then the HR went on vacation.
Hopefully today or tommorow we'll see some results.

Hello Guys, I had applied for BOWP online couple of weeks back. Today I got an email saying my application is updated. Upon login in CIC website I couldn't find any new message in Check for Message section, but its showing:

Application Status Closed
A final decision has been reached This application has been approved

Does this mean they have approved the open wp I had applied, if yes how to get the copy of my new WP?

A co-employee informed me (thru his exp.) that because I also have PR application simultaneously filed with BOWP, it is a possibility that CIC will not process BOWP and just concentrate with my PR application.

Any comments/feedback on this?

A decision will be made on your BOWP, one way or another.

If you literally filed your PR and BOWP applications simultaneously, then there is a different issue, namely that there is a race between the people processing BOWP applications and the people managing the intake of PR applications, and the AOR may not come quickly enough.

made an error twice in uploading my son's passport number and its the cause of delay in our application.

My poor common sense is telling me that it was humorous, didn't get it though The whole point asking the question was Upon login in CIC website I couldn't find any new message in Check for Message section if you bothered to read. Some of my not-so-rich-with-common-sense friends here bothered to enlighten me, so no worries
