Border officer didn't entry my info

I drove to US and came back after a week. While coming back to Canada it was weekday and no other car was there the border officer was chatting with other officer didn't take any of my info not even passport nor pr card! He just let us go even I insisted giving him my passport. He just asked where I went and how long I stayed.
How does IRCC count my trip days? There is no record that I came back to Canada?
I will be applying for Citizenship next month.

Request your travel record from from US as that will backup your claim.

Your I94 is associated with your CAR #. (if it was issued at road border crossing) Sometime they made the entries only via Car # you can check you I94 records after a week to be sure.
