get his visa the same day of the interview????

maybe it happened once in Havana, Cuba but I can not see it happening in Bogota , Colombia !
also Havana has 10 months processing time, while Bogota has 17 months

actually many many times visa is issued same day as interview.......my husband's visa was issued Oct 4/12 and had till Dec 26/12 to land because that was when his medical expired....

the 10 month and 17 month limit are usually the very outside.....majority of applications in Cuba are between 6 and 8 months.........so hopefully Bogota is some what similar........

you need to be positive and good things will happen....yes it is a hard long road by the end is worth it :D

I have read some of the questions and yes there are some silly lol but i will show my husband the link either way so he can prepare. Im sure he will do great! Im so happy! Thank youu :)

I was looking at your times..and i see that your husband got his visa the same day of the interview?..hopefully my husband doesnt get asked to do his meds again..(they expire in april) and if he could get his visa the same day of the interview..i would die of happiness lol. Im going to to colombia in march for 5 weeks and i would love to be able to come back to canada with him the same day :)

That would be amazing if you could come back together!!! Sending prayers and positive thoughts your way!!!! :)

why are some people writing here on a "BOGOTA VISA OFFICE" topic about their experiences in Havana, Cuba ?
you are comparing apples and oranges , the VISA offices in different locations has different processing schedules
anybody dreaming about getting a VISA at the time of the interview just setting himself/herself up for major disappointment

KJG and I joined the March Thread a year ago and often have checked in to see what's happening on each other's threads....anybody is welcome to share their experiences anywhere, anytime.

yes, KJG is a very busy lady on this forum, and has lots of free time: 2767 posts
posting on many forums, including Havana-Cuba, Kingston-Jamaica, etc...
I just do not see how relevant her specific experience with the Havana office to the visa office in Bogota, especially when she is comparing the processing procedure and timeline

Im not expecting my husband to get his visa that day..i just said it would be amazing if he did (just a simple comment)..you need to relax. And as cunnington said..anyone if welcome to comment wherever they want! Anyone can share their experiences...Is not the first time i see you making rude comments. No wonder nobody talks here anymore...

you are welcome to post and share your experience on Febr 25, after your husbands "great news" interrogation finished
hopefully, KJG's prayers and positive thoughts would arrive there in time.....for sure, he needs all the help he can get.
there is no reason for you to get this excited.....there won't be any miracles in the Visa office in Bogota !

We are all in this together and if I can offer support...guidance..positive thoughts..prayers...whatever then I will do so. This process is not easy and to share helps you through it...at least in my opinion.

Not sure why you have taken such offense to my posting here but I have made friends on this forum and I will continue to post......because I care and I want to help....just because my husband is now here does not mean I will dessert friends I have made......and help those who may need it if I can.

And I never said Havana was like Bogata....I was just relating my experience.

Have a great night!!! :D

yes it would be amazing and one can hope...if we don't have hopes and dreams life would be awful!!!! my first experience with that poster!!! not used to being talked at like that....oh well......C_O......life is full of surprises.....he may not get visa same day...but if you go in March for 5 weeks I bet there is a damn good chance it is issued while you are there and you can still have time to make arrangements.....!!!! ;D

so for some reason ECAS is not recognizing my file # and won't let me check on the process, not that it really matters but I just kind of got used to checking it every few days! anyone else having the same problem?
