BOGOTA Office Visa Applicants 2014

Hello everyone,

Its been a while seen my last post so im gonna update. I got my interview appointment a month ago and I went to Bogota for it this week. It was better tan I thought since I was very Worried. The assistant was a very nice lady and she was mainly concern about cultural differences but overall the interview was great.

At the end of the interview she said our case was accepted and they will contact us for further information. Since I already have my medical exams and Background Check I really hope next will be Passport Request and we hope they ask for at any time soon.

So good to see new people in this thread! Welcome !!! I am sorry I was MIA for a while...I was with the hubby in Colombia :-* I just got back this morning...ay que dolorrrr :-( These goodbyes are really tough. I am sure a lot of people in here relates!

I guess we are all waiting for the VO to say something after the background check. We've done them on March 14th so I am at week 9th also... without NADA and in process since april 3rd :-\

Estoy Feliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiizzzzzzzzzzzz, VO requested my Passport they said they are ready to issue the visa. My husband and I cried out of hapiness, we hope to finally see the visa stamp in my passport and start another journey together.

Oh wow that was like six months!!! Congratulations!!! That's exciting. I'm definitely considering withdrawing my inland application and applying outland to Bogota VO instead.

Sincerely, VO Bogota are really great. They answer emails in hours and seems to be very fast this past year, people gets visa in WAY below than these horribleeee 15 months.

It must be such a relief, 6 months is not bad at all!!!
SarahRuiz, do you think any moment now?
Every week I keep saying the same thing.
For us it will be 11 weeks since the background check this Monday.
Why do they say 6 to 8 weeks???
Do you know of anybody else who is waiting on the background check?

I totally understand how you feel. I don't know why they say 6 to 8 weeks when it is way more longer than that....I guess maybe the results got to the VO, but they are processing the files that got there earlier than us....I Don't knowwwww :-\

I just want PPR !!! haha

What should we email them? I mean, it is our papers...They can't be offended by an email of us wanting to know. Each time I emailed them, they were very nice.....
