Birth Certificate Concern

I’m hoping someone who has gone through something similar can advise. For my PR application (PNP – principal applicant), I submitted my birth certificate, which is an old handwritten document (shown here: https://www.scribd.com/document/518144732/001).

I’m an Indian citizen but spent most of my life in the UAE, so I had the certificate notarized and attested in the UAE. The final document includes the original handwritten page plus an additional page with all the stamps. Because the certificate is not typed, I’m unsure whether this notarized/attested version will be considered acceptable.

If IRCC finds this insufficient, what are the chances of reconsideration? Has anyone had a similar experience with an old handwritten birth certificate?

Proof of sibling Birth Certificate.

My brother and I have birth certificates from Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, but the municipality name is spelled Amdavad on his certificate and Ahmedabad on mine.

Could this cause an issue when proving our sibling relationship for Canadian PR?

Rest all is fine.

Don't think so. If you're concerned, just write a short letter of explanation. If it's a transliteration/transcription, then it's a fairly obvious thing and won't be an issue at all.

If the original is in English, my understanding is that these types of errors/name issues with some Indian documents (esp from different time periods) are not that unusual. Just explain that it refers to the same city.
