Got a call today at around 11:30 am from Service Canada with No Caller ID appearing on my phone.

Booked the appointment for 8th October at SC near Scarborough Town Center.

I received the SC call on Friday in Edmonton.

Only your wife needs to give, I guess. Did your biometrics info get updated in your cic account?

Yes it is updated in my account. hope I should receive call soon as my AOR is 16 June 2020. what is GU and which SC location they gave you

You will receive the call soon, I am sure. They just opened in Edmonton. The location I got is Edmonton Hermitage Service Centre. GU means ghost update.

In your cic account under application information there is biometric section. It says Biometric number, date of enrolment and expiry date

Hello, I would like to share my progress with you guys.
I had a missed call from SC yesterday at 2:50pm Saskatchewan time. (4:50pm Ottawa time I believe)
They called with a private number, so make sure that you don't block the private numbers on your phone setting (which I did, so silly).

My AOR is Aug 18 and BIL is Sep 10. I am sorry that you have not yet received a call—but I am sure you will receive it soon. I believe Edmonton SC just started calling people, hang in there. I have no idea on what basis they are calling people. Clearly, they are not calling based on AOR, which I do think is rather unfair. I hope you get that call soon.
