I am applying for a tourist visa in a month but I'm worried about my biometrics since I have applied for an immigration visa (permanent residence) in 2007 with a different father name and family members that I strongly regret, my application was rejected in 2007. I couldn't remember if the canada embassy took my biometric but I can remember that there was no VFS services and I went straight to the visa officer for interview but I can't remember if there was fingerprint machine in the window.

Was there biometric requirements in 2007? Will this put me in trouble? What is solution for this matter.

If you are a genuine visitor then it should not matter whether biometrics were part of the process in 2007 or not.

However, based on your post that you had previously applied for PR with incorrect/false family information..... your post gives an impression that you are possibly trying to conceal your previous history with Canadian immigration.

Do remember that any misrepresentation of facts (including witholding previous visa/PR refusals).... can lead to a 5-year ban from entering Canada.... and possibly the refusal of any future visas after the 5-years is over

So go ahead and apply for your TRV without thinking about the biometric requirements in the past.... but do NOT forget to declare your previous PR rejection + false family.... and also declare visa refusals of any other country (if applicable)
