Conservative Senators keep saying Australia as one country where the residency limit is 4 years before becoming citizen. But there pre-PR time is credited upto 3 full years and only 1 year after PR is needed.

So what if this amendment proposed keeping 4/6 but allowed pre-PR 50% credit up to a total of 2 years?
