I am CEC. So what you mentioned above applies to FSW or CEC or both? Thanks

I just checked my points breakup and see that under 'CRS – Skill Transferability – Foreign Work Experience' i have been assigned 50 points. I am not sure why, i am really confused now

Yes, don't worry about that, this is part of the CRS score criteria, you are getting the 50 points because you have 3 years of foreign work experience and CLB 7 or above.

All you need to do is verify you have the relevant documentation for the points you have under your points breakdown.

Thanks a lot, I was really worried; your inputs have been valuable so far. So since i am an inland applicant (CEC) and maximum point i can get for >3 years of foreign experience; so while submitting my eAPR can i just provide my recent company name in the work history and remaining in the personal history?

Since, in my current company i have been since 5 years (1 year in Canada and remaining outside of Canada). Do i need to write LoE as i am moving work experiences to personal history post ITA?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Sure, that's enough for you to get the maximum points.

I have a doubt between CEC and FSW if a person obtains 1-year work experience on valid LMIA/work permit in Canada, he can apply under CEC but what about his foreign work experience? Can he still claim that ?

Same thing I did with mine. I put 7 years foreign work exp pre-ITA, turned out I couldn't get the COE for the 1st 2 years. I dropped it in work history, and put only in personal history then mentioned it in my LOE. Had 5 years remaining in foreign work exp claimed. My score didn't change after. So hopefully it was fine.

Yes, absolutely.

thanks mate, and sorry room members if this question was not relevant to this thread.

@Islander216 if I arrive on a work-permit, with accompanying wife on open work-permit and child on study visa, I know my child can go to public school for free but will they both eligible for public healthcare benefits ?

Yes, they will be eligible for healthcare benefits, however you need to check what the criteria is for your province before you can obtain coverage.

Thanks for the response. Did you had any issues in your PR application with this change?

My application is still 3 months in progress. Other than med passed and BIL, no other updates.
