Try to find a survival job as soon as you arrive so that you can pay basic expenses.

Keep your expenses low where possible. Look for a single room to rent with shared facilities rather than renting an entire apartment.

Seems like you have landed and lived in Canada before so same as you did before. Securing an apartment without much money and no job will be difficult. Depends on what you are considering not much money. The cost of living is quite a bit higher than Alberta.

why you are in a hurry to permanently land ? If you still have some time to meet RO , stay outside Canada and save some money and then move when you have at least three months reserve !!
