What happens in ip2?

It depends on the application I guess. Normally if an application moves to IP2 really fast after AOR then it means background check has started.

But, in my case my application was moved to IP2 after 110 days after AOR. And 2 weeks later I found out my application was approved but still haven’t got the PPR email. So I am not sure what is happening in the background with my application.

I feel its too soon. at this point, the GCMS notes might not tell you much as the delay usually happens when the application moves to background check. And if you call CIC, there is a good chance they will just tell you to wait because your application is within the normal processing time of 180 days.
