hi all,

i am international student in Canada and will complete my graduation in august, I am doing Accelerated MBA which has duration of one year. I want to apply for immigration but i have some confusion.
1) As my course is one year only so can i apply for immigration under international student category or not.
2) My wife is college lecturer in India and has eight year (part time) work experience from one college only. Is she eligible for immigration under ministerial instruction category or not.
3) if both ways for immigration are available for me then kindly suggest the best way.
Regards.

for you to apply under the canadian experience class as a graduate student you have to make sure about the following :

you have an academic preparation year before the master degree as a requirment for that degree so they will be 2 years.

you have one year of full time paid work experience from within canada in skill level A or B or 0 in the national occupational classification of canada (NOC).

for your wife if her job title is a college teacher (NOC) code 4131, she is eligible to apply under the FSW class category number 1

in regard to her eight-year experience they will count it as four years because it is a part time. anyway, 4 years are enough to get the maximum required points for experience
