I created this thread so we could share our timelines and discuss matters concerned to our applications.

I received my sponsorship approval today. Logged in eCas and it says, application received. I think it eCas has not been updated yet.

thats funny because my spousal sponsorship app pacakage was sent to beirut office yesterday (feb 25) aswell. Hope this does not take forever!

I am in toronto (ish)

canada recieved my application jan 29 2015. Then i got an aor feb 5 2015. Then i got a SA feb 18 2015.

I was boarn in canada, educated, steady job and i live in canada

I received my sponsorship approval today. Logged in eCas and it says, application received. I think it eCas has not been updated yet.

Mine now says

Decsion made in the first block and application recieved in the second block, and i click that and it says that they got the app 29th of jan and they got meds report

Yeah. That is too funny. Step1 processing time is currently 84 days. I am not sure what's going on...

One day, we will wake up and find the golden email in our inbox hahahaha.

Just logged in and it says Application Received for both steps.

Did you check your eCas on Feb 18. That would tell us how often eCas is updated

Yeah it didnt update till the day later. Well since both of our packages were sent to beirut office the same day, we can def track down the progress together! r u sponsoring spouse only or children as well?

I am sponsoring my spouse.

Did you get two separate emails?. one for your SA and another for the application forwarding.

I received my first email saying that they have received my application and will begin processing it. Then two days later I received an email with a letter attached saying: You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing. How about you?

On the 6th of Feb. I received my AOR and on the 25th I received the SA. As a result, my application was forwarded to the visa office aboard (Beirut).
