10,000 CAD is the maximum per adult you can enter with, if you are married so you and your spouse can get 20K.
if you will get the money in $ USD, you have to convert it to CAD, try to avoide exceeding the 10 or 20K value.

if you are married so 20k is your maximum, 10k for you & 10K for your spouse.

Im still waiting. I sent landing fee on June with additional docs..
