Note: Unlike CIC, BC PNP doesn't have Christmas vacation. They are close only on statutory holidays. So relief is that the applications are not going to be delayed because of the vacation time. But, the holiday season is on, so people must be lazy and we have to expect delays.

Who told you the pnp office only close on statutory holidays? Have confirmed with the office? Cuz my representative told me they are off work from 24th to 27th.

I called them and they told me that they don't have long vacation. But, they are closed on statutory holidays only.

Also I send them an email for update on my file and they responded. It's still in process and the disappointed line was, "Should the processing time exceed 14 weeks, please contact our office at that time." Hope this will be over soon.

BC PNP office will be closed on 25 dec. 26 dec. And 1 jan.
So dont worry guys we are in process.

Hey guys,

It took 15 weeks for my application to be approved. i applied in aug and got the approval in nov.
I had a personal interview and it took exactly 15 weeks for the whole process. i asked the program adviser about the delays and she told me that they are receiving a lot of applications and i wont be surprised if the processing time increases even more. You will need a lot of patience guys.
I know the waiting part is terrible but you'll forget it all once you get the approval.
