Sir qorax

I am planning to go back home to the Philippines on December. I will not have the PR card by that time but i will definitely have my passport with the canadian PR visa.

My question is, can i travel outside then go back to Canada without the PR card?/ Is the visa&passport enough for me to go back or should I still wait 2 more months for the PR card before i travel?

U've to apply for a PRTD at ur local Canadian Consulate. It costs $50. And with that u can return.

Dear Qorax ,

Need your advice and views . I got my PPR step 1 just under 2 months from the time my medicals were gona expire. I than received my PPR step 2 after 23 days from step 1.

I have submitted my passport since the last 3 weeks to ISL VO but still no luck with visa. Now my medicals will expire in less than 5 days. Do you think they might give me some extension or when I can expect the PP back?

I am ready to leave as soon as my PP return .. Everything is booked and ready ! What to expect?

Dear Qorax,
Please help..........
1. VO asked me to submit updated Immi 0008 form along with my MR. I have been unemployed after my initial application, Now If I put unemployed in my application, will that create any problem?

2. VO also asked to provide POF, So I am going to provide six months bank statement from my home country that shows BDT1155000 which should be equivalent to $14077.81 CAD (According to online currency converter). this amount is for two of us and should be enough. But in my previous GCMS note, VO assigned BDT400000 = $4000CAD, it means BDT1155000 = $1155000 CAD and Its not enough. What can I do? Please advise me on this.
Thank you.

1. Yes, RFV = Ready For Visa. Ur IO hasn't opined that for u as yet [at least not yet logged that in ur GCMS].
2. Since mid-2012 many cases r handed-over to ECU for reProcessing/reAssessment. Unfortunately ur case might be one such.
