Dear Qorax,
Do you have any idea why my PPR1 is late,is it the background checks still going on???
waiting for ur reply.thanx

Dear Qorax,

Below are the details of my case;

Application received = 13-01-2012
Processing begun = 20-06-2012
Med Received = 12-08-2012
Med Done = 22-08-2012
RFPR fee sent = 25-08-2012
Third line "Medical Received" appear = 29-08-2012
Ecas status = Still "In process"

Things were moving in my favor and I was waiting for PPR1 but on 03-01-2013 I have received an email from CHC London which state that I have to get Police clearance certificate from Singapore, as per instruction I have completed the process and Singapore police force have sent my police clearance certificate direct to CHC London, they have received my Police Clearance on 14-02-2013.
My question is that due to this hitch how much delay I have to face would it be 3 to 4 months or less, your advise will be great help for me to take decision because I have to travel abroad to join my job I was deliberately delaying in joining because of PPR but if it take very long then I must go and then come back if the PPR will come after 3 to 4 months, I could have wait if its a matter of one month.
Your prompt reply will give me a sigh of relief.

Kindest regards.

hiya Qorax bro

3 - 5 months from

1- day of medical done?
2- day of medical received?
3- day of medical received by CHC?
4- Day on which Programme assitant record medicals in our file?

best regards Sir

Captain Qorax,

I am May 2010 applicant, with In process on March 2012 (reviewed and started processing also) and then after long wait got Medical request on mid Dec 2012 and updated forms (Forms have changed since I submitted in 2010) request to be sent with attention to a case analyst. Duly completed and sent in Jan, they sent again request on Jan 2013 third week asking for state US certificate (FBI one given in 2010 when I was in Canada and perhaps got expired and then we came bk to US in 2011) and sent it as well on Feb first week 2013.

Last week I saw one more line added in Ecas. Then "Medical Results have been received"

Does it mean checks are still ongoing or completed?

I have not submitted RPRF yet.

Do you know when to expect PPR and RPRF request?

Dear Captain Master Qorax Bro

Along with the Medical Request, the NYVS requested the RMCP background check.

My medicals were received in September 2012 and the RMCP only completed my background check on December 31 2012 and sent the results to the visa office.

Passports have not yet been requested.

No correspondence have been received since and my ecas haven't changed.

Does this indicate that there is something wrong? Should I be worried?

Thank you so much and please reply!!!!!

Hi Qorax

My details are as follows:
appl filed-Jan 2010
In process date-02/25/2011
Medical-26/06/2012
RPRF and Passport sent-26/06/2012

Now my question is last week the visa office NDVO had sent a mail asking to provide Indian mailing address to send my passport as they cant send passport out of India. I am in Europe. I immediately sent my local mailing address. But status is still IN-Process. What do you think my case is finalized by now becoz they are asking my mailing address to deliver passport. pls advise me.

Ur visa/s r stamped. It should be at ur Indian address anytime now. U should now think/plan/organize about how u'd get it back to ur country of current resid.

Dear Seniors,
My medicals are going to expire on March 20, 2013 and still I am waiting for PPR.

The last response of my CSI was: " Please be advised that the above file is currently undergoing routine background checks and your medical results will need to be re-done/extended if they expire."

I understand that no one is sure about how long background checks will take. I have following questions in my mind.

1) I want to identify the problem in bg checks, does CAIP notes are of any help?

2) What is the maximum time bg checks can take?

Regards
Wali

Dear Qorax Sir,
I send my passport along with my medicals on dec 12, 2012. its almost 2 and a half months now. In my Ecas it shows "Medical results have been received." It was updated on 2nd wk of jan and there is no date on that updation.
normally how long it will take to get back the passport with visa stamped? One of my friend got his visa in just 3 wks time. What will be the reason for delays?
Regards,
Johny.
