What everyone is afraid to say and talk about is the fact that applications are also based on Ethnicity/Race...
Yes, European /White/Caucasian applications take priority!

Blacks/Africans etc etc are processed last.

And before the naysayers comes to say this isn't so... this is a well known fact among Lawyers and immigration representatives..
People like to pretend racism magically died and disappeared.. It hasn't..
Its still the driving force behind much prejudice in our society!
It's what stops minorities(mostly blacks) from getting mortgages, grants business loans etc.
Its what's causing Alcohol and drugs pumped into Native Reservations and communities (no its not drug dealers doing it.. its the Fedds....

But of course many will come bashing what i just said for obvious reasons...
We light candles for all the native women mysteriously missing/murdered.
We light a candle for all the kids killed in Residential schools (Who killed them? Crazy serial killers? No... The government and churches)

Keep believing this system is fair and unbiased and has equality ....

Imagine being black and Muslim. You will be the last if not your application is dumped into garbage bin. After all, these applications are processed by humans that look into your name, race, religion and country of origin. White are processed first, certain Asian countries come next to it. Really sad that I cannot do nothing about it.

I just don’t concur with your assessment- Ahmed Hussein was a Somali Muslim refugee who was also the IRCC minister just 2-3 years ago, and he was pretty good too.

You gave your test on July 2, 2021 ? Or you applied on July 2, 2021 ?
The tracker is showing you applied on July 22, 2021 and got AOR on Sep 29, 2021.

No update after AOR/FP. I applied in 2nd July, 2021... I don't know who updates the tracker

So they just made him the minister of the whole immigration department as a joke? He had no powers? Come on mate- just because your application didn’t get processed sooner, blame it on color and religion.

I know for you it is funny and joke. If it is only my application, I would not say anything. As I said I looked into applications that are delayed closely not only here but different platforms. People do not talk bcze they are scared being bashed by people like you who have no feeling for others.

@Aspiring Canadian did your BG check automatically go to completed 4 months after test ?

Sad. Almost all people who applied in the same month as mine, July, 2021, are getting invited to oath. I am stuck at BGC. Somehow there is discrimination that nobody talks about against certain group of people. I looked into it closely through different social media platforms. Citizenship is a privilege not a right!

i am july 2021 applicant too. and my BGC still in progress. im from china, and my PR BGC only took 1 month . i have no idea whats wrong with my citizenship application

Got an update thought to share with you and also look for some answers to my questions:

Folks, Applied for GCMS notes on May9, Received today the results (38 pages long ), Here are the details captured, seeking folks opinion who are familiar with GCMS notes :
Knowledge: Passed (Did test back in Feb2022)
Criminality: Passed (Asked for Finger prints in Dec 2021, Although it still shows on the portal "In progress" for BGC)
Language, Presence, Prohibitions: Not started
Oath: Not started

with Due date: Oct 2022 (I assume this is the date an officer would look into file again).

2 Questions:
-Folks who have received notes before with Due date, Was this the actual date they have seen movement again on their file? or not necessarily!
-Is it a correct assumption that nothing would happen between now and Oct 2022?

Update: Got Everything completed for me and my wife today (BG, Prohibitions, Language, Physical) & a Decision made on Ecase.
