Hi,
Looks like we will also landing to Calgary.
Please do update me with your experience.

You said 1-2 bedroom house around 1200 PCM.
What about 5-6 bedroom furnish house, as I thinking to share with one other family.
Will that cost cheaper .
Heard that in Canada houses are big (compare to UK) but all I read here about 1-2 bedroom houses.

I think you will find it hard to find a 5-6 bedroom house, if you do it will be old houses. You sure you want to share a house with another family? 5-6 bedroom furnished house can run you around 2500-3000 a month. Also a house that big will consume more gas in the winter and expect to pay around 300-400 if it is an old one too. The norm for rentals is 1-3 bedrooms.

The school fees is yearly. This are add-ons like the lunch supervisor, field trips, computer fees. School is free but not the extra stuff.
