I received ITA on 1st August 2019. My last update was passing the medical test on 20th August, and my Biometrics took place on 30th Aug. My application currently reads - We are doing your background verification". Pls add me to the group - 9205896728

I share the same fate as you my aor is aug 02 and visa office is sydney. My eligibility is recommended pass and the background checks have been going on for quite some while now, spoke with ircc and they told me too that it will not be processed in the 6 months period as their partners are working on the file to get the background check done.

I share the same fate (or bad luck). Called IRCC and they told me is in sidney. My AOR is August 07th and they are doing the background check. Looked online and Sydney takes from 8 to 10 months to finish the application. Hope we have news soon

When I logged in, it said Profile/Application updated.
Everything looked the same when I opened the application though.

Hello everyone,
I applied in express entry on 14 August 2019, my medical was on 5 September. I got the passport request on 28 January.
My work permit is expiring on 22 February.
Can anyone please tell me that, Do I still need to apply for extension of my work permit??
