I’m reaching 9 months. Called CIC and agent told that everything Ok ??? What the hell with my application if everything is fine???

Same here lol. Everything looks good but not a single clue why it is late or even how long it is gonna take. All I know is that people with january AOR have begun receiving their PPR

To be honest, I feel as if it was all a dream as I have been checking my CIC account all the time for an update.

Hello everyone.

Just accessed my CIC account a short while back to find that I had received an update (Status was "Application Updated"). However, when I checked my application status, I could not find any update as all the information displayed was same as before.

Can anyone clarify if this was a Ghost Update ?? And normally what happens during a Ghost Update ?

FYI, I was informed by the CIC agent that my application was due to be processed before April 23. Other details are in my signature.

Within 2/3 days as per the ppl who have got ppr..as its already weekend expect by tuesday/ wednesday

Mine is similar case:A0R Aug 12.
File was last touched in Sept 18.I had RR required on Work Ex and submitted docs pro-actively (ordered GCMS).I called an agent just 2 days ago and he mentioned that my file hasnt been touched since Sept 18.He dropped a note to VO .Fingers Crossed

You can't. Because the bank needs to see your COPR and PR visa.

It is a ghost update. Wait for a day to see if you receive PPR; if not, contact CIC and ask if your application is approved.

I'm still waiting to get the passports back. Submitted it on 12th March.

Hey Man, I was wondering if you received your passport already. My PPR is still to come , one year period since medicals expires in June. I am expecting to get a good job offer in Bangalore but am worried if I get PPR request at this time , within barely two months time , I will be in trouble because that means I will have to land Canada asap , difficult without leaving the job. Thats why I am tracking your timeline ))) . I guess its already one and half months since you since passport submission.

No and yes. It really depends on each particular application status. There's no hard rule as to CIC's inner working. But I believe ghost update is always a good thing because your file is being worked on. I advise to wait 1-2 days after ghost update to see if anything happens; if not, contact CIC and ask.
