Most likely then will be an email. It will request a copy of your passport photo/signature page, two photos, the last page of the email printed and filled out (called Annex A), and a prepaid courier or Xpresspost envelope. All this is sent to Ottawa to process your CoPR. Instructions will be in the email.

BTW, congratulations!! I'm in roughly the same time frame as you, so I hope to hear good news soon!

I posted about this in the September thread but haven't gotten a reply so I'll ask here too, what kind of envelopes are you guys sending/have you guys sent for the COPR to be sent back? We bought the appropriate stamps for a regular envelope but aren't sure if that's good enough. Our office is Ottawa, for the record.

If you're sending it from the US, most are using FedEx. If sending from Canada, you can use CanadaPost XpressPost. You can go to CP, and get two prepaid XpressPost envelopes.

Hi, I've got a question for you guys. I'm sponsoring my husband to come to Canada, we applied in June 2016 so this was the closest forum I could find. Our application was received and I was approved as a sponsor in August 2016. His visa is being processed at the Office in Rome. Our medical exam expired and they requested a new one. They sent us an e mail for some supplemental info which they received at the end of November 2016. The received his new medical exam beginning of December. Can anyone tell me how much longer we can expect to wait/ what are the next steps they will ask us for before our process is complete?

CoPR arrived in the mail today! We are going to make a trip to the border this weekend to do some shopping and then drive back across!

For anyone still waiting:
PPR request received January 23rd
Mailed everything January 24th
PPR received at Ottawa on January 25th
Received notice that CIC file had been closed on February 2nd
Received CoPR today!

Hope everyone gets good news this week - it is so great feeling!

Yay! I'm so excited for you! Love how you say "and just like that it's all done!" Cuz what a ride it's been. Haven't had to log on to MyCic in almost a week and I don't miss it one bit. Lol.
