Hi Guys

So I applied in August too, got 1st AOR in September and then 2nd email stating that SA is approved and my application will be transferred to NVDO visa office last week, is this 2nd AOR? it doesn't show up in ecas that my sa is approved, just in process.
Will I receive any email after it reaches NVDO ?
Also i cant link my application to mycic, will it only get linked when NVDO start processing it ?
Or if someone can send me instructions how to link it ?

Thank you everyone.

Congratulations. You must have broken the record for the shortest processing time :) My application is received September 28 and I was able to link it October 5. VO is Ankara. Patiently waiting ;)

It was most probably a record :) if nothing changes of course.. I hope you hear something soon as well. I have everyone in my prayers for their fast and smooth processing time. :)

you will get AOR2 email from NDVO with different UCI no for your PA

Thanks shmak2017, so now technically it makes sense why I cant link it, as SA's cant be linked as per CIC website and I will receive a second UCI number for PA to link it.

Thank you so much everyone for your messages. My husband and I can not believe it. I personally feel like someone has made a mistake. I was thinking of calling CIC to double check. It just doesn't make sense that his application was processed in one week. He has extensive travel history, lived in India for 2 years and he is an Iranian citizen. I thought his background check will take forever, but it seems the visa officer was satisfied with our application. We submitted all of his documents up front and we didn't have any red flag in our application. However, I will not rest until he has the visa on his passport. In case, the visa officer changes his mind or something else happens:)

Aylar10, did you get an email when your background check changed from "not started" to "in review"? I keep checking the CIC website. It think I am wasting my time if I'm just going to get an email as soon as it changes. Thanks again and I am overjoyed for you!

Thank you so much.. No, we didn't get any email. It's my husband who gets those emails but he usually gets them one day after the update is shown on MYCIC account. I just randomly checked the account this morning and I saw that the background check changed to "in review". I personally thought the application has been refused because it just didn't make sense to be updated this quick. There are no updates on ECAS yet. I am still thinking there could be a mistake somewhere so I will wait for 2,3 days to see if we receive anything else from the visa office.

No mistake! I've heard of cases where people were approved in just a few weeks so this is normal if you're lucky and your paperwork was in line. Congrats!

Here is the step by step information how to link your profile to My CIC. Somebody in the past described it and it worked for me.

3. It will direct you to this landing page: https://clegc-gckey.gc.ca/j/eng/l?ReqID=s242cec6e6186f71c550ceaca98ff8a142c1ae0fe8
4. Key in your username and password and click sign in button.
5. Click continue button.
6. At the terms and condition page, click I accept button.
7. At the identity validation, key in your answer and click continue button.
8. Link an existing application to this account. Then click the blue button which says "link application to this account".
9. When you reach this page that shows "Link an existing application to this account ", go further below down until you reach "What did the applicant apply for?".
10. Under the category select the drop down menu bar as permanent residence.
11. Under the sub-category select the drop down menu bar as family classes(Spouse). (which applicable for you)
12. For the application details, drop down menu select your Application number and Family Name
13. Fill out the information for application number.

17. Once a match is found, it will say:
Thank you for entering information.
We compared it with our system and found : an application that matches info...
Note: by linking your application to this account, you will now receive all messages and xxxxx
Select the LINK MY APPLICATION BUTTON.
18. Then it will link application.
