HI August People !!!

any news ????????

Nothing for me

We received an e-mail back from Ottawa that basically said "Sorry we lost your photos, can you please send us more and a prepaid envelope, your copr has been printed and is ready to be mailed, we just need the photos we lost, sorry again, sorry." I'm paraphrasing, but basically that. - So..COPR has been sitting printed since Feb 29th all because they didn't look in the bottom of our envelope Feb 10th. They opened it and took the paper out with my husbands updated contact information, and didn't check the bottom of the envelope for the photos. :(

I'd say very. We sent new photos, the same day they were delivered received an email that the photos failed and to send new ones. We were on the way out the door when we received a second e-mail saying that first one was a mistake, to ignore it and that they had everything needed to issue our COPR. Talk about a heart attack.

Unreal! Hopefully you receive your COPR soon and can land and be done with all of this!

I still haven't heard anything, not from CIC, the MP or McCallum. I can only assume there is an issue with my application but they haven't told me what. At this point I wish they would email me even if it's to say I need an interview.....I'd gladly go to LA to see someone in person and tell them my frustrations, LMAO.

Right! I sure hope you hear something soon. The lack of communication is insane. Have you e-mailed Ottawa yet?

Yes I've emailed them but no response yet. I was never in a hurry before to get an answer as I don't need to work but now I'm so bored here I need to work for my sanity :P I e learned it's nice to be in the same country as your spouse while your app is processed but without knowing anyone here or working the days get long!!

Thanks so much.
Yea, my boredom has caused me to overthink all this! I'm thinking it has to be bad news that it's taking so long!

Our MP emailed just now and asked us to call her tomorrow with more info and she'll follow up with CIC for us, so hopefully I'll have some info soon.

HKVO...things have moved along.

Application received: Aug 3, 2015
AOR1: Sept 2, 2015
SA: Oct 16, 2015
AOR2: Nov 5, 2015 (email got auto-deleted...this really does happen)
Submit new information requested by AOR2: Feb 3, 2016 (only know about AOR2 through GCMS notes)
COPR: Mar 16, 2016 (date of letter with COPR, spouse is visa-exempt)

Talked to our MP yesterday and she sounded hopeful and this morning I checked ECAS like I always do and it says Decision Made!!
So happy to see something other than In process!
Hopefully it's a good decision!
