So nice to hear that a lot of August apps are moving along nicely!! congrats to all with SA and AOR2.

I'm sure now that something must be wrong with my app as I have no emails or updates since we received AOR on September 16.

Give it a week or so maybe it'll come through.
My AOR was received Sept 12
Received SA on Oct 9th
it just might be the person who is checking your file is slow..

They received my application on Aug 14th
They sent me my first AOR on Sep 24th
They have received the medical files.

If I don't hear anything by tomorrow, I'm going to have to call them.

Is there a quick way to call and speak to an operator? Phone number + #'s to get past the automated options?

We called last Friday and was told we should have SA by now and our case worker will contact us and still nothing. We tried calling today at 3:30 and couldn't get through, we will try again tomorrow.
Unfortunately I don't know anyway to get through besides jumping through hoops.

LOL! You start to worry when the process goes so slowly! Especially when you are past the processing times posted on CIC!

Like wise my friend from Bosnia that sent in her app the same date as I did this year had her whole process last just 2 days shy of 4 months.

So my husband called again today and was told no one has responded to our request from last Friday and we should try back in a few weeks?! He was also given an email address so we can try emailing the case worker ourselves for an answer.

I don't understand all the backlog and wait. I'm now 11days over the 60 day wait time updated on the CIC website that was updated on October 6th.

It's frustrating that we haven't even received SA yet when we thought that part would be simple. My husband (the sponsor) was born here, lived his whole life here, same job good for 18 years. It's frustrating.

Sent an email yesterday, will update you when (if) there will be a replay.

I am confuse about applying Visitor visa for my wife.
I got SA but still waiting for AOR 2

So should I have to wait for AOR2 for applying visitor visa or I can apply before AOR 2.

Please guide me. I am planning to apply on next month at the end and in hope I will get myAOR2 before that.
Please give any suggestions
