I received an email today asking for my FBI certificate which I mailed in after my application in October. When I submitted my app I had included a letter saying I would mail the FBI record as soon as I had it and I did. I may cry if they lost it and I have to redo my fingerprints and wait the 3-4 months for the FBI to process.

I emailed CPC-Ottawa back explaining and with copies of it. I was hoping with so many people getting DM lately I would be soon but now who knows.

I don't know if you guys are interested but I found a cel app called "CIC STATUS" for iPhones. It's free and accurate.. Y'all should check it out. It makes it much easier to check your ECAS lol

Hi, just informing that I finally got my SA last week (Feb 10).

The reason for that delay is because my application was sent to Second Review.

In October they tried to call two times on my cell phone here in Canada, but i could not answer the call. On the next day, I called the number back and the officer said my application was forwarded. Then I ordered GCMS notes and I read that as they could not talk to me on phone, they doubted I was inside Canada....so, my application went for investigation (Second Review) to see if I am in Canada.

Now the wait for second part starts!

I guess they needed a background check because I have lived in Canada for more than 2 years now. I hope that is the last of the paperwork they will need from me and come to a final DM and allow me my PR .

Yeah.. You can look it up as "Check Permanent Residence@CIC". I haven't tried it yet cause I don't have an android. Let me know if it works..

Yes there is one for Android , I'm using it on my Blackberry PRIV . Works fine , Now I'm Extra E-CAS-O-HOLIC
