Wauw we have an update. We got AOR2 a few mins ago. They started processing our app on February 8.. I felt like we won the lottery lol.. Thank you MCVO..

Logged in to ECAS this morning and we have a decision made! Its so good that we are starting to see approvals

Congrats ladyex13 are you a US applicant? I'm a September applicant and my visa office is Ottawa as well even though i'm not a US applicant hope Ottawa office process applications fast

Just checked on our application today (first time in a while), only to find it at 'Decision Made'!

I don't know if it was luck or Ottawa picking up speed; we submitted Aug. 19, 2015, got SA on Oct. 10, 2015, and this today. 177 days/6 months to DM, and just waiting on the COPR now.

Yes we are a US applicant and VO is Ottawa. We started it all on Aug 28 so it moved pretty quick. It just didn't feel like it. I must've checked our Ecas at least 4 or 5 times a day!

Did you get the email requesting more photos and passport copy? We got that yesterday, I think it's about two weeks after they get that info.. But apparently not everyone gets that request :

I am applying to sponsor my husband through outland sponsorship. Can I pay online from Canada with my credit card and if I do will I still need the Imm 5401 form ?

We didn't get a request for anything b/c we sent copies of our passport with our application. We had also sent the photos at the start as well and luckily we sent in the right size photos too. I heard that the size had changed shortly after many people had sent in their application. So, i guess we have a few weeks to wait for COPR if i'm guessing correctly.

Yeah we sent all that in too with the right size photos at the time (the new size is huge!). Who knows why they request it from some and not others haha I'm just glad its almost done

Seems like a lot of progress was made with august apps this week, hope the DMs keep rolling in!!
