Yes, they asked me re-submit form 1344 by sending email on September 04, 2014. The form reached at CIC on Sep 11, 2014.

So I checked my email this morning without any expectations, lo and behold a mail from CIC! Opened the mail in panic, cos call center told me yesterday they were still missing information on my file!(confused people ) To my surprise it was a SPONSORSHIP APPROVAL LETTER! Yayyyyyy! OMGsh! It took forever..so much that its hard to believe it's finally here! Am sure am gonna read it several times today at work!

Whooh! It happened! Time line..submitted Aug 6. Updated Sep 9. Approved Oct 29.

How many forms did you re submit, bcz i got the same letter as you from CIC requesting updated form, but then it specifically mentions IMM 1344 highlighted in yellow.

Yes i got the same thing. . and i only submitted IMM 1344.

i resubmitted on Oct 8 and still havent got any update. i applied on Aug 27. We have similar timeline. We have long way to go

If the letter you got requesting the new forms had a file number on it, then you are in process and not starting "new". If they gave you 45 days to send back the documents, then they are holding your place until they get the forms. Still may take a few days to put your stuff into the right file, but I don't believe anyone starts new if they have a file number assigned...

I received my SA on October 6th, and ECAS still shows as Application received under sponsored spouse part. Does anyone know an ETA as to when I can receive an AOR or when the status will be changed to In process?
MY VO Is singapore.

Mine was .I sent my application in April they required new documents. My gmcs notes states i am a June applicant when they brought forward my date to open my documents / i received my SA in August. So yes i started new.

I sent in my outland application August 13 and they received it a few days later. I still haven't heard anything back yet and it says on the website they are working on apps received Sep 8 Its not looking good . I originally sent my app in May but they sent everything back to me in August saying I was missing a form, which I was not they were asking for a form that was part of the inland application Package GRRRR it made me so mad because it was their fault and I had to update stuff and get to the back of the line and start all over. So I mailed everything back in August and like I said have heard nothing so far.. NOW WHAT should I be worried?

CIC gave me temporary file number when they requested updated form. So i guess they are not starting from scratch.
But i am not able to check status online with that temporary file number.

When i talked to operator, initially he was not giving me any timeline,but at the end of call he asked me to wait 1-2 weeks. He also mentioned that CIC is receiving hundreds of incomplete applications . So it take them time to organize and again review file. I guess that is why it is taking them further one month even after receiving updated documents.
