after trying for more than a week, i finally got through and talked to a operator. He mentioned they received my updated forms and files is complete. when i said my overall application time has passed 2 months, so should i be receiving feedback soon. he answered that 2 month processing time is for complete application and my application was incomplete initially.

Hopefully they send me something in next couple weeks. This process is taking way too long.

i sent my new forms on sep 16 bt still didn't hear a word from them, and actual application was submitted on july 21
I would try to contact them via phone to get some answers. However, myself included some people never got an email stating SA but our application continues to be pushed through. My experience we were told that if it was denied it would be done within the first 20 days and you would be refunded the money less fee's right away.

We are in the same boat. I had resubmitted the requested the forms on Oct 17. Called CIC to check, the agent said that they need a minimum of 30 days before they can provide any updates.

My husband and I went to the US for 2 weeks to visit his mother and of course while we were gone CIC tried to contact me to let me know I was missing something in my application. (It actually was in there, just in a different section! I emailed them another copy anyway though.) I, of course, was devastated thinking I'd delayed the whole process by a few weeks. I got a bit worried when I didn't get any confirmation back about them receiving my email. So, today I decided I'd call them. I opened my email so I'd be able to give the information to whoever I spoke with on the phone...and saw another email from CIC.

I'VE BEEN APPROVED AS A SPONSOR!!! YAY!!!

So, they received our application on August 27 and I got my approval October 27! :D

Yay! Congratulations!!!

We had filed our application on Sept 5, 2014. We were asked for updated IMM forms on Oct 9, which we sent October 17, 2014.

Does anybody know how much more time it might take after CIC has received the updated forms.
yes i phoned cic last week and the agent told me that i have to wait from the starting now

We received an AOR and SA approval notices by email today, despite the fact that my VO has been in touch with me already for almost a month, the CIC agent I spoke to said that they are processing both stage 1 and stage 2 simultaneously to save time. The plot thickens!

Whatever they are doing they are definitely making it more and more complicated to figure out each day, I feel like we need to give up any previous knowledge on the process we had and see how it goes ;D But if they are doing it to save time I am all for it ;) Congrats on the official SA!

My representative told me I got SA today. I haven't seen the email from CIC, and the online status is not updated till now. It's a good news anyway. :D

i resubmitted on Oct 8 and still havent got any update. i applied on Aug 27. We have similar timeline. We have long way to go :)

Hi im new to the forum, have just added my details to the spreadsheet. Im still awaiting sponsorship approval and was wondering if anyone else is in the same situation as us. Myself (sponsor) my husband and daughter are all living in the UK while we apply to Canada (i have dual citizenship, my husband and daughter are British). Have any other sponsors living outside Canada received approval yet? Also does anyone know if that would mean a longer than average waiting time for approval?

Many thanks for any help / advice.
