August 2013 Spousal Applicants on their 14th Month awaiting VISA approval

Today I'm celebrating my 14th month. I hope I will receive good news from CEM today.

Just here to know if there are some of you here that is of the same timeline. Its a stressful wait since I'm in a grand total of 6 years long distance relationship but staying positive here. My husband and I are hoping for the best. Recently we're thinking of other options like applying for temporary visa perhaps. So while waiting I can go see him and we can be together in our own house for the first time. I hope some of you here can give me informations or so if planning or finding other options.

I'm curious to know if your application had any red flags / issues of any kind, or was it all straight forward?

It depends on the Visa Office processing the application. I believe Manila likes to ask for passport very early in the process.

Oh none of any sort. And I hope none of that whatsoever should ever happen. They only asked for additional documents, re-med and my passport.

It took them ten long months to send me this request. Only by that time my status says IN PROCESS as well. Is that something I should worry about? And now its already 14 months. It went beyond my expected target.

You are beyond the posted waiting time now. You are in your right to send email to CEM via case specific inquiry yo know what happens with your case.
You could also get your MP involved as CEM is more prone to answer inquiries from MP than applicants.

when did you submit the required documents? is the status of your ecas is "in process"?
I submitted my pp & other required docs on 03 July and waited until now, no news come yet. I am so worried and desperate bcoz the waiting time is nearly finished. if i have to wait for 2 more months, it takes me 23 months in total for the waiting game.
