Yes Shah, you can do landing with COPR anywhere.. it will not be an issue but it should be within the validity of the visa.

Don't know how that's gonna look like to border agents.
First bullet point of CIC eligible criteria is:

You need to meet these requirements to apply under the Canadian Experience Class. You must:

  • plan to live outside the province of Quebec

And now you wan't to complete your landing in Quebec? ::)
Don't know... that'd sound weird to me.

Anyone?

Can you please let us know when did CIC receive your passport and when did you get it back after stamping?

Did your passport reach Ottawa?

shah0076:

It's only a 45-50 minutes drive from Ottawa. Google "ogdensburg prescott bridge" it is an international bridge that leads to the Canadian/American border.

yahoo7:

I did not have to send my passport anywhere since I went straight to the border, left Canada, did a U-turn and came back to Canada, officially landing.
They just asked for my Passport and Confirmation of Permanent Residence letter, stamped my passport and said "Congratulations". Now I am waiting for my PR card in the mail.

I think you are from a visa-exempt country so you don't have to send passport.
