Hello hopeinshahallah,
What is your NOC?

Hi Anamadheya,

My NOC is 2173.

Hi hopeinshahallah,

My timelines are very similar to yours.

I got only the Medical Request but no RPRF or Biodata Form (the one that asks for height, eye color etc). My ECAS status still shows "Application Received". Can you please let me know what your ECAS status is?

Thanks!

Hi swahid,

My eCas still shows Application Received, no updates yet. Please update the group when the status change.

Hi,

I received communication from CIC to pay RPRF fees and send updated Biodata form, but no medical request yet.

You will get MR in the coming days then. Good news! Lots of August applicants got MR's already, hopefully all get MR by end of this month.

Will do.

The discrepancy in CIC's operating procedures is a bit alarming though. Some folks get MR before RPRF/Biodata; others get RPRF/Biodata before MR. Also, they update ECAS rather randomly it seems.

I just hope things work out well for everyone.

Cheers!

The letter quotes below statement

This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.

So wanted to check, whether medical is mandatory, since am living in Canada for last 3 yrs.

It is 100% mandatory. Bad choice of wording on their part!

I think the wording implies that some or all of the three criteria are still under process.

Depends how fast you do your medical. After medical you can expect anywhere from 1 to 3 months.
