Haha....I understand your point, your post made me smile....and that's nice these days. I think in turn maybe my post came off as if it was directed at you, and it wasn't....it was directed at my government in general, as I'm sour, and I feel bad for the less fortunate. Maybe we're all on edge these days....be it delivery notices on doorsteps or intended generalized comments.

As a Canadian i do feel it's my duty to make as many people aware of the holes in the process in hopes it helps others.....and note that I don't get upset for the people getting approval...I congratulate all of you, as I wouldn't like to see anyone go through this process, when I really just feel bad for the ones still waiting from June.

I'm sorry to all, but those are the facts...and this is the internet, and it's open to anyone who reads these forums....who knows, maybe some big government official does a google search and reads one of these posts and realizes what goes on with the unfair process....it's a long shot, but maybe?

That and letters to my MP who is a member of immigration departments signed by several Canadian professionals agreeing with the lack of regulation is what I do to help the process in the future.....(that and vote...haha)

As a Canadian I'm not proud of the family class sponsorship process......but I am proud of my right to speak my mind, do something about it, and step up for everyone else.

Cheers! (eh?) (hehehehehe)

I feel like such a huge dummy for jumping to conclusions. :( Sorry to cause such a scene in here guys, back to normal! haha

Thank you again to all of you who were being supportive =) <3

I come a little late to the party, but I wanted to say I'm happy for you! I definitely don't see it as an unnecessary scene, because I'm sure I would have totally freaked out! ::)

IMHO, we have to put thoughts of AOR, sponsorship approvals and everything else in the background of our minds. It will not help us to be stressed, since there's nothing we can do to make things go faster. Everyone has a right to speak their minds, and to exercise their rights; to choose the best way for them to deal with the process. I for one will wait as patiently as I can... and I will check eCas once a week just in case :P

Btw, a very basic question: on eCas, when you choose UCI number as your identification, do you have to include the dash? Do you write XXXX-XXXX or XXXXXXXX?

As you said first in your post xxxx-xxxx

Cool, thanks. I tried that and the dash shows as another dot. It looks like ········· ::) Anyway, thanks again:)

Are you the applicant or the sponsor? I am the applicant and can't log on using my details. D.O.B, place of birth etc etc

I have to use my wife's details since she is the sponsor, her D.O.B, place of birth etc etc.

For some reason the UCI will only work for the sponsor and not the applicant unless you have a U.C.I number from something previous to do with Canada i.e extended a TRV, applied for sponsorship before etc

Oh man, now because of the complainers I don't think I want to tell when my husband has been approved :-X

yes you do because we all rejoice in everyones good news and makes us feel better in this long process.......everyone reacts differently to the stress this whole process gives you and while personally don't like negativity it is too easy to go in a downward spiral....I certainly understand the frustration and inability to do anything....but lunas we all need to share in each others little victories it is what gives us hope and in the interim if someone goes on a rant.....let them......there are many others who are still positive!!!! ;)

I am the applicant, but I do have a UCI from my previous IEC process. I'm using that until/unless we get something different along the way :)

Hi All so I finally got the tracking number. The application was sent on the 29th and received in Mississauga on Aug 30. The visa office is New Delhi could you please add me to the spreadsheet?

Thanks

Sure. Btw when was your medical done?

In July 2012 - don't know the exact date.
Thanks

UGH!

I keep compulsively checking online for a status change...I need to occupy my time with more exciting thing!

Yay to Remrov for the sponsorship approval PS. That is fantastic and amazing. :)

Wow, congrats to those who have gotten good news!

While I love and appreciate the spreadsheets, now I'm the "next in line" (although I realize there are countless people ahead of me... agreed that the system is totally unfair). Had it not been for the spreadsheet I wouldn't even be thinking about this until next month. Now, I've got my parents checking the mail incessantly.

Are we all having fun yet?! ::)

Try not to check too much, as it can become addicting, and in the end make the process seem longer. Try to find a hobby, or something To occupy your time.

Cheers and best of luck

I'm going through the same thing! haha Even though I know full well I wont hear anything until later on, I still cant stop checking the spreadsheets and these threads and even more so, the mailbox! haha I'm just glad that I don't feel let down each time it's empty.
