Aug/Sep/Oct Applicants Waiting for PPR

Hello All,

Oct 2nd applicant got my PPR email today.

Rightnow i am in India with my dependents and still the mailing address shows my Canada representative address. Can you pls guide me the procedure to change my mailing address to India?

Shall i try through online ECAS changing mailing address or send mail to CIC.

I Got PPR this morning as well. We need to send principal and dependent passport together if the condition is they both are in Canada.

I don't need to send my daughter's canadian passport Right?
And i suppose I don't need to take her while Landing , as she was born here in canada.

I am just sending below
1. Me and my wife's passports
2. photos . 2 each for both of us as per specifications.
3. RFV Email copy
4. completed and signed Annex A as asked in the RFV email
5. Return envelope (Do not fill out address section on return envelope. as specified in mail)

Please let me know if i have to send any other docs.

Correct. Daughter's passport is not required. Yes you don't need to take her for landing as well. You got all documents covered in post above. I'm sending mine tomorrow. GL.

I got one more email.
which says "Please use this letter if you and/or any of your accompanying dependent(s) are currently residing in India."

In this email, it says return envelope should be self addressed.
But first email says , we should not write address on return envelope. Only fill Annex A.

I also got two emails , my husband has used that letter in India for submitting passport, but I do have some concern as they said don't fill the returning envelop but Canada post asked me to fill the return address on that envelop too, so I filled that with my mailing address not their address.

I'm following first email and sending it as per instructions. All applicants are in Canada so I'm assuming 2nd email doesn't apply to me.

I just called the call center and didn't get any answer. They say to raise a case specific enquiry and upload both emails and ask for clarification

Can we request a signarue upon receiving if i use canada post while sending passport. reason being i could see PO Box 9780 if i use canada post. If it is post box, my understading is that no one will be available to receive the item. correct me if i am wrong.

You are correct. No one will receive it in PO box and they will not deliver it since it needs signature. Someone from CPP-O office will have to go down to the post office to sign and collect the document. They do it almost everyday as they get many such applications.


If not can i do courier in canada post. so that i would have confirmationt hat one has reveiced my item.

That will be a better choice! Don't get confused with the word courier, it simply means if you are sending through a mode which requires signature. So you are good to go with this one.
