Now I am worried. People sent to po box but mine is actual address. I feel PO Box is quicker. My friend got his already.

My ECAS status has changed from Decision Made to Complete.

Last line added in ECAS "You entered Canada at the Niagara Falls Rainbow Bridge office on December 19, 2016 and became a Permanent Resident."

Hello All,

I got "Ready for Visa" a week ago. I recently got married and as per email i send email to CIC regarding my marriage.
Meantime, I send my passport to CPC-Ottawa.

I got email today from CIC asking PCC, Medical, forms, marriage photos, etc for my wife's application.

And now application status changed to "In Progress" from DM.

Does anyone know if I am getting the PR or they will wait for me to send all my wife's documents and my process will be delayed now?

It will be delayed now to add your wife as a dependent applicant assuming your wife is non-Canadian.

Experience of Landing

Indian Immigration officer was too good so there was not a single hitch.
Take Air canada direct flight from delhi as the staff is too good.they allowed me 26 kg each bag 9 (PR Skills ) and they do have a 2 bags which can go in cabin with 10 kgs each ( one for personal items that is laptops etc and one for cabin ) and also its dirent so u dont have to worry about double immigration also ..

Canada immigration was really too good and simple and helpful.took me to cross 2 counters of immigration in like 10 mins only and i was welcomed by them.

Smokers :- Carry one pack of smokes ( 200 pieces ) which is $ 25 ( usd ) and in canada its 13 for one pack which is really expensive

It took 1 week for me. i have submitted our passports in vfs chennai on 19th dec and we got it back on 23rd.

Don't worry you will get it soon. there might be little delay due to holidays.
